Good afternoon, I hope you are all coping with the uncertainty of the second COVID situation. It is certainly challenging times for us all in a variety of ways! That said I thought it was appropriate to remind you of the value a business coach can bring a business.
As business owners there is only so much you can achieve on your own. We need a sounding board from time to time. Someone that keeps us in check and helps us grow. Find out why taking on a business coach can make a world of difference
1. On our own, we lack perspective. A business coach will ask the right questions and test your ideas and assumptions
2. On our own, we get stuck in a rut. We all struggle to change things up and tend to revert to the same old actions, which do not change and improve our life or business performance
3. On our own, we have no accountability. Many of us carry around plans in our heads, but we do not write the plan done nor do we think about how we implement the plan. Instead, we tend to make ourselves busy by being busy rather than working on what is important.
4. On our own, we drain our energy. We tend to work 50, 60 or 70 hours a week doing non-productive work and which ultimately drains our energy and creates frustration
5. On our own, we make costly mistakes. We often make haphazard decisions that can prove costly to us through leakage of time, energy, and money. A second set of eyes and ideas will assist you with “testing” new ideas and theories that can help eliminate poor decisions
6. On our own, we go around in circles. Breaking habits is tough. Unfortunately, we tend to repeat the past rather than model the future
7. On our own, we lose sight of what matters. All too often when we strive to achieve, we lose sight of what is really important to us and we end up sacrificing family, relationships and health
8. On our own, we take out our frustration on the people that care about us most. Owning your business can put you in a very lonely place and because you have no outlet, you find you can take out your frustrations on family and friends. We provide the outlet and emotional support
9. On our own, we forget to put proper systems and processes in place. Think about it, when you jump in your car we typically put on our GPS. Why? Because it will give us the most convenient and fastest route to the destination. Great systems and processes do the same; they allow the business to scale and reduce time and cash leakage
10. On our own, we put out fires all the time. There is only so much your body and mind can endure. Putting out fires can be an emotional rollercoaster that saps you of your energy and drive and ultimately leads to high-stress levels. A coach shares the pain provides emotional support and reduces the load from your shoulders
11. On our own, we watch cashflow go up and down. Cash is directly related to self-esteem in many cases. The rise and fall of cashflow can cause huge concern. Strengthening profit and cashflow provides peace of mind and ensures the business remains robust and of value
If you know people that display these traits and you want to help them, please feel free to put them in contact with me for a free and confidential consultation.
